What did you enjoy most about the SYL and how did it help you to develop as a player?

“I enjoyed the atmosphere SYL created and at each event, whether it was watching the pro team train at USLX or playing in a playoff game, it gave you a look into who you are and what you can accomplish with the right mindset. SYL Finals were more than just soccer games. SYL created an atmosphere where you could be yourself and showcase your talents on and off the field, while still enjoying competing to win SYL Finals. The way everything was set up was so professionally done.
SYL helped me develop as a player because it provided the tools necessary to become better through strong competition and being able to watch players and teams from across the country. SYL gave me a view into what it would take to become the best player I could be in the future. They have fostered an environment of growth and development where everything we did, especially at USLX, was geared toward providing the best coaching, training environment and matches possible. Being able to train and play alongside other great players helped me to become more confident in my abilities on and off the ball and the coaches at SYL helped to develop all of us in the game; technically and tactically.”
