The Internationals SC U14 Girls team was one of the most dominant at Super Y Finals, winning four of its five games by multiple goals. Their attack proved unstoppable, pouring in 20 goals over the course of the tournament. But even on a squad full of dangerous goal-scorers, striker Katie Scott stood out.
Scott scored half of her team's total goals for an impressive haul of 10 goals in five games. Averaging a brace per game is no easy feat, especially against some of the country's top players in her age group.
In helping Internationals capture the U14 Girls national title at Finals, Scott also became a back-to-back national champion. A gifted finisher who is comfortable shooting with either foot, she has a bright future in front of her as she continues to improve year over year.
Scott has clearly displayed her knack for finding the back of the net, and if she returns to Super Y Finals with Internationals next season, they'll be strong contenders for a three-peat.
