Former Super Y League player Andrew Carleton is among the 27-man roster selected by U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team Head Coach John Hackworth for the SYL Finals Showcase match between the U.S. U-17 and IMG Academy U-18.
The match, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. ET at IMG Academy Stadium, is free to attend for all SYL players and families. The Showcase Match will also be one of three games at SYL Finals streamed live by StreamSports, which specializes in sports highlight reels, broadcasts and game film.
The U.S. U-17 earned the 2016 Nike International Friendlies title on Sunday, defeating Portugal, 3-0. Led by Carleton, who was one of three players to score four goals in the three matches, the U.S. U-17 also defeated Turkey, 5-1, and Portugal, 7-1.
