Ironbound's Runde, Atlanta Fire United's Schroeder among featured

The Super Y League continues to boast a plethora of elite talent across its various Boys' and Girls' age groups, and over 10,500 players involved in the current campaign.

In our Five Player Friday series, we take a look at five athletes who have shone with their clubs during the 2018 season and have been recognized by the USL Scouting Network as some of the league's top talents.

This week, we take a closer look at five more players that have put together superb seasons with their respective clubs.

Here are the featured players for the seventh edition on Oct. 12, 2018.

FIVE PLAYER FRIDAY - OCT. 12, 2018

CHRISTOPHER RUNDE

IRONBOUND FC U11 BOYS

Record: 6-0-0, 18 pts - 1st in North Atlantic A Division
Goals scored: 21
Summary: Ironbound boasts one of the top teams in the U11 Boys age group, and Runde is one of the biggest reasons why. With 21 goals in just five matches (over four goals per game), Runde has proven to be one of the most-deadly goalscorers in all of Super Y League.

BRODY SCHROEDER

ATLANTA FIRE UNITED ARSENAL U14 BOYS

Record: 5-5-0, 15 pts - 4th in South Atlantic A Division
Goals scored: 11
Summary: Schroeder has paced Atlanta Fire United U14 Boys throughout 2018, with the young attacker averaging over one goal per game. 

LILLEY BOSLEY

LIVERPOOL FC CENTRAL REDKNAPP U15 GIRLS

Record: 7-1-0, 21 pts - 1st in Midwest B Division
Goals scored: 11
Summary: On a team that is phenomenal on both sides of the ball, Bosley is a standout in the Liverpool FC Central Redknapp attack. While her club has allowed just three goals all season, Bosley continues to shine on the goal scoring front, having tallied 11 goals in eight matches.

KEVIN DENNIS

UNITED FUTBOL ACADEMY 2 U11 BOYS

Record: 7-1-0, 21 pts - 2nd in South Atlantic A Division
Goals scored: 15
Summary: In a competitive South Atlantic A Division, Dennis has paced United Futbol Academy's U11 Boys to one of the most potent attacks in this age bracket. Dennis has accounted for 15 of the team's astounding 51 goals in 2018, which ranks second in U11 Boys soccer.

HANNAH MINOGUE

FC VIRGINIA ANNANDALE U12 GIRLS

Record: 7-1-0, 21 pts - 1st in Mid Atlantic A Division
Goals scored: 10
Summary: Minogue has formed an effective partnership up front with Mya Townes, making FC Virginia a force to be reckoned with in the attacking third. This season, Minogue has found the back of the net on 10 occasions, including a four-goal outing against Calvert Elite SC.
