The Midwest side looks to secure another title in 2018

It's difficult enough excelling enough to capture one title, but at the 2018 Super Y League North American Finals one club will be aiming to earn their third-consecutive crown in their respective division.

Chicago Inferno's Under-14 Boys side looks to secure its third championship since 2016, after taking home title honors in each of the last two years when the club was competing in the U-12 and U-13 divisions.

Let's take a brief look back on how this team worked their back to the 2018 SYL Finals.

With just one blemish on their regular-season record in 2018, Chicago Inferno enters SYL Finals as one of the clear favorites to once again take home a title; this time in the Under-14 division. It wasn't until their final league match -- against the club's other U-14 Boys side -- that Inferno suffered their sole defeat of the year.

Convincing victories against Evolution SC and Central Illinois Elite capped off an impressive regular season for Chicago Inferno, who managed to score 32 goals across eight matches.

Josiah Pitts leads the way for the U-14 side, having scored four goals for the club while playing in every match.

Chicago Inferno will begin their group-stage run at this winter's SYL Finals against Real Maryland FC 2, before facing City FC and Rebels SC to close out Group A play.
