With over 10,500 players competing in the Super Y League during the 2018 season, the USL Scouting Network has identified hundreds of boys and girls who have stood out for their clubs.

In our Five Player Friday series, we take a look at five boys and girls who have performed well in the 2018 season and have been recognized by the USL Scouting Network as among the league's top talents.

Here are the featured players for the fourth edition on Sept. 14, 2018.

FIVE PLAYER FRIDAY - SEPT. 14, 2018

KATHARINE SCOTT

INTERNATIONALS SOCCER CLUB GIRLS U13

Record: 7-0-1, 22 pts - 1st in Midwest A Division
Goals: 6
Assists: 0
Summary: Scott was vital in leading Internationals SC to a first-place finish, scoring six goals in six games played. She was just one of two players on Internationals SC to score more than six goals in the summer.

STEPHANE SHONGO

ATLANTA FIRE UNITED TOTTENHAM BOYS U14

Record: 8-0-1, 25 pts - 1st in South Atlantic A Division
Goals: 21
Assists: 1
Summary: While helping the Atlanta Fire United Tottenham Boys U14 to an undefeated campaign and first place in the division, Shongo scored an incredible 21 goals in eight games played. He also recorded one assist.

SYDNEY TAYLOR

WEST SIDE ALLIANCE GIRLS U15

Record: 5-0-1, 16 pts - 1st in Mid South Division
Goals: 6
Assists: 0
Summary: Taylor was a leader for the West Side Alliance Girls U15 in goals scored with six, helping the team to an unbeaten record and first in the Mid South Division.

MADISON WYNER

FC VIRGINIA ANNANDALE GIRLS U17

Record: 8-1-1, 25 pts - 1st in Mid Atlantic A Division
Goals: 10
Assists: 1
Summary: Leading the FC Virginia Annandale Girls U17 to a impressive 8-1-1 record, Wyner finished the summer with a team-high 10 goals. She also recorded an assist in eight games played.

OMAR YEHYA

BYSC CORONA UNITED BOYS U19

Record: 4-2-2, 14 pts - 1st in Southwest Division
Goals: 4
Assists: 1
Summary: Yehya was the engine for BYSC Corona United Boys U19's attack, as he produced a team-high four goals and one assist to lead his side to a first-place finish in the Southwest Division.
