TAMPA, Fla. – Davidsonville Athletic Association (DAA) has joined the Super Y League as a member club ahead of the 2017 regular season. Based in Davidsonville, Maryland, DAA is led by Director of Coaching Jamie Darvill, Technical Director Jordan Cyrus and Travel Commissioner Joel Dovi.
“We are thrilled with the addition of Davidson Athletic Association to the Super Y League, as the club looks to offer an additional developmental tool for its players,” said Christian Velasquez, the USL’s Youth League Operations Manager. “DAA has high aspirations, and we look forward to helping them increase their footprint while offering a competitive platform for their players to develop.”

DAA joins Lonestar Soccer Club, Vienna Youth Soccer, Harrisburg City Islanders, Georgia Storm, Athletic Jaier Futbol Club, Crystal Lake Force, Bethesda SC, Lakeland FC, TSC Hurricane, Liverpool FC International Academy Texas, FC Wichita, Tampa Bay United, Woodhaven SC, Braden River SC and Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC as new member clubs ahead of the 2017 season.
Founded in 1999, the Super Y League is a part of United Soccer Leagues, LLC, which also operates the Division II USL and Premier Development League.
The country's longest-running national youth league, the Super Y League provides an unparalleled experience to approximately 500 teams and 10,000 players through the Elite Player Pathway, which includes the Regional Scouting Series and USL Experience. The league focuses on the development ages of 10-18 for both boys and girls, featuring a summer platform with an annual North American Championship in December.
