USL Experience host will play home opener at Toyota Stadium on April 1

TAMPA, Fla. – San Antonio FC, host of the second installment of the Super Y League’s USL Experience, will play Western Conference foe LA Galaxy II in its home opener on April 1. USL Experience players will be recognized during the match at Toyota Stadium to cap off the event.

The USL Experience, a multi-day residential event that provides high-caliber SYL players with some of the highest-level youth competition in the country and delivers an exclusive look into professional American soccer, offers those invited the opportunity to interact with professional players and coaching staff, as well as access to professional training facilities. The event will take place from March 30-April 2, with 72 players set to attend.

Through the Super Y League’s relationship with the United Soccer Leagues, operators of the Division II USL as well as the Premier Development League, USL Experience players will train and compete like a pro, while gear, food and room and board are provided to the players at no additional cost.

The USL Experience is the pinnacle event of the SYL Elite Player Pathway, which begins with participation in the SYL regular season. Players who attend the Regional Scouting Series are then evaluated and identified for selection into the National Player Pool. Those selected will continue to be evaluated in the fall and at the North American Finals, with the top players in the U10-12 age group receiving invitations to the Meulensteen Method U.S. Technical Championship and the top players in the U13-U16 age group earning invitations to the USL Experience.
