Soccer Resilience Named Super Y League’s Official Sports Mindset Advisor

Agency's top-notch sports mindset training to be made available to all SYL clubs

TAMPA, Fla.- The Super Y League (SYL) announced today a new partnership with sports mindset agency Soccer Resilience. As the official sports mindset advisor of the Super Y League, Soccer Resilience will provide all SYL players, coaches and parents with the necessary tools to enhance their mental training both on and off the field.

"The Super Y League recognizes that the development of the sport at the youth level deserves more focus, training and content around the mental game,” said Joel Nash, Vice President of the Super Y League. “Through a partnership with the Super Y League, Soccer Resilience will provide all SYL clubs with a top in class provider that teaches and inspires a resilient mentality for players, coaches and parents. Their programming and impact on clubs is especially recommended for the current landscape of youth play, which focuses on holistic development."

Soccer Resilience has the sports psychology base and soccer-savvy content to inspire players and to advise coaches, clubs and organizations on how to increase self-awareness, drive confidence, conquer setbacks and enhance performance. Soccer Resilience’s impressive management team includes a Women's World Cup Champion, a MLS Cup Champion, a 20 year psychologist and an 18 year NCAA Division I Head Coach who lead the processes in training players through the mental side of the game. 

Through a partnership with the Super Y League, the sports mindset agency will guide clubs through mindset training sessions, interactive presentations and online academy resources with the mission of providing a well-rounded approach to confronting self-awareness through a focus on taking control, developing purpose, building perseverance and enhancing performance.

Core Foundational Training:

  • Zoom sessions (potential in-person)

  • 3 Sessions recommended (1 per month)

  • Preparation: agenda and speaking topics for presentations

    • take control/develop purpose/build perseverance/enhance performance

  • Presentation: interactive sessions, including Q&A

  • Follow-up: summary of sessions and actionable tips for players, parents and coaches after each session

    • Two leadership/mindset tools for coaches & staff (per set of 3 sessions)

Deep Dive Training:

  • Zoom sessions (potential in-person)

  • 3 Sessions recommended (1 per month)

  • Advanced/tailored sessions to harness mindset for further elevation

  • Follow-up: summary of sessions and actionable tips for players, parents and coaches after each session

    • Two leadership/mindset tools for coaches, staff, players & parents (per set of 3 sessions)
