Under bright morning sunshine, the players took to the field for the first time on Friday morning for training at Waters Soccer Complex, home of Tampa Bay United Soccer Club, and then headed back to Al Lang Stadium to watch the Rowdies run through their final training session of the week.

After lunch with the Rowdies’ players and coaching staff, the group headed to United Soccer League headquarters and engaged in a panel with leaders of various departments that covered the business of professional soccer in North America and the paths the game offers professionally when a player’s days on the field are over.

The day wrapped up with the first live game action of the weekend back at Waters Soccer Complex, giving the players a chance to show their abilities in front of their coaches and US National team scouts.
