Yes. Our "Stay to Play" policy applies to all teams that participate in the SYL finals: ALL hotel reservations MUST be booked through USL, no exceptions.

The "Stay to Play" rule does not apply to teams commuting to the finals within a 70-mile radius of the Hillsborough County Tournament SportsPlex. If a commuting team wishes to stay in a hotel it must abide by the "Stay to Play" rule and stay at one of our partner hotels.

The hotel link will open on Monday, September 23rd at 5:00 pm EST and close on Friday, November 1st at 5:00 pm EST. The hotel link will be available on the www.sylsoccer.com/finals-hotel-info and will be sent in an email prior to the link being live.

Each team is required to reserve a minimum of three (3) days and 36 nights (12 rooms x three nights) at the same hotel. A rooming list is required within five (5) days from the date of your hotel reservation form to guarantee your team’s rooming block. Teams with fewer than 36 total nights should contact Nick Papadakis at nick.papadakis@uslsoccer.com or by phone at 813-849-0583.

All room reservations will be honored on a "first-come first-serve" basis. Team hotel reservations will be reserved for five (5) calendar days from the date the hotel reservation form is submitted. By the end of the fifth day Super Y must receive the rooming list or the reservation will expire. If rooming list IS NOT received on time the hotel choices requested on original reservation form will be allocated based on hotel and room availability at that time.

The rooming list needs to include the contacts responsible for paying for the room, the number and type of room requested, and team contact information.

The team's hotel reservation block is being guaranteed by the contact's credit card, but the hotel will not charge the card UNLESS rooms reserved do not show up. The parent or persons responsible for paying for the room will need to call the hotel ahead of time to place the room in their name and pay.

Most hotels' cutoff dates for hotel team block reservations is Friday, November 1 at 5 p.m. (check the Hotel Partners list below for individual hotel cutoff policies).
