BRADENTON, Fla. – The Group Stages wrapped up at the Super Y Finals at IMG Academy on Saturday, and as a result the field for the semi-finals is set, with semi-finals to be played on Monday, and finals on Tuesday.
The U12 Boys semi-finals will see Chicago Inferno 1 as the No. 1 seed, taking on No. 4 Tri-State Elite, the other semi-final will see No. 2 City FC take on No. 3 Atlanta Fire Bayern Munich with both matches at 10am. Northern Virginia SC comes in as the No. 1 seed in the U12 Girls playing No. 4 Nationals 2 in the semi-final, the other semifinal will see No. 2 Arlington SA take on No. 3 Oklahoma Energy FC with both matches at 10am.
Following the group stages, the U13 Boys semi-finals will pit No. 1 National Soccer Academy against No. 4 Chicago Inferno with No. 2 Atlanta Fire Borussia Dortmund playing No. 3 Arlington Soccer with games at noon. Following those matches the girls semifinals will see No. 1 Oklahoma Energy FC facing No. 4 Liverpool FC IA Rednkapp with No. 2 Internationals SC taking on No. 3 Arlington SA in the other semi-final, both at 2pm.
Atlanta Fire has another club in the semi-finals in the U14 boys with Atlanta Fire Manchester United the No. 1 seed against No. 4 Kalamazoo Kingdom 1, with No. 2 Barcelona USA MD taking on No. 3 Alpharetta Ambush in the other semi-final, taking place at noon. The No. 1 seed in the U14 girls is NJ Elite which will take on No. 4 Oklahoma Energy FC while No. 2 FC Virginia takes on No. 3 Arlington SA, also at noon.
Entertaining matches are set in the U16 boys semi-finals with No. 1 FC Wichita taking on No. 4 Chicago Inferno 2 and No. 2 Westchester Flames 2 up against Ironbound SC Red. The girls will see No. 4 Chantilly YA looking to upset the No. 1 seed Chicago SA, with No. 2 Central Ill. Elite and No. 3 Midwest UFC doing battle in the other semifinal, all matches taking place at 4pm.
There will be an all Ironbound match in the first U18 boys semi-final with the two teams ending up as the No. 1 and No. 4 seeds. The other U18 boys semi-final will see No. 2 South Orlando SC taking on No. 3 seed FA Euro with the U18 boys semi-finals launching semi-finals day at 8am.
