TAMPA, Fla. – Ahead of the 2017 Super Y League North American Finals in Bradenton, Florida, the Super Y League has released the tiebreaker procedures and knockout round format for all age groups.
Group stage matches will take place from Friday to Sunday, with matches kicking off at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Semifinals will be held at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, while the Finals cap off the event on Tuesday.
In each group at the SYL Finals, the head-to-head result serves as the first tiebreaker to determine the group winner, while goal differential and goals scored follow, respectively.

Total points serves as the first tiebreaker to determine seeding for the Semifinals, while head-to-head results and goal differential follows, respectively.

The team finishing on top of a four-group division from each group (A, B, C and D) will advance to the Semifinals. Teams that progress from a four-division group will be seeded based on their total points in group play; tiebreakers will apply, as needed. Seeding will be subject to the seed determination protocols for the North American Finals.
The top team from each group (A, B and C) will reach the Semifinals, while team with the next highest points per game (NHPPG) between the three groups will also advance.
