TAMPA, Fla. – Athletic Jaier Futbol Club, based in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Michigan, has become a member club of the Super Y League ahead of the 2017 campaign.

“In Athletic Jaier Futbol Club, we see a strong connection between players and coaching staff with a commitment to not only player development but also building the club,” said Matt Reda, SYL Marketing Manager. “The Super Y League strongly believes in these same values and looks forward to Athletic Jaier Futbol Club’s presence in our Midwest Division for 2017.”

Jeremy Woolery, who serves as the Director of Coaching and Training, founded the club in 2003 alongside his brother, Jason Woolery. A total of 28 players have progressed to the collegiate level under their guidance.

"We feel this is the right time for Jaier FC to add to our development options for our players,” Jeremy Woolery said. “We want to continue to offer a great level of player development for Jaier FC members and having the opportunity to join Super Y will offer a great pathway for our players.

“We are excited to get a chance to work with committed, high-level players. We want to give players in Southwest Michigan with a passion to develop and learn the game a chance to do so. Seeing how we can compete with some of the larger clubs will be exciting for our community.”
