2016 SYL Finals Event Schedule Revealed

Purchase your tickets to attend the college coach panel, seminar by Jason Riley

TAMPA, Fla. – The 2016 Super Y League North American Finals Event Schedule has been revealed, and SYL players and families have the opportunity to attend a college coach panel and seminar by Professional Nutritionist and Strength/Conditioning coach Jason Riley while in Bradenton, Florida.

The panel and seminar are in addition to the SYL Finals Showcase Match between the U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team and the IMG Academy U-18, set to be played at 6:30 p.m. ET* from IMG Academy Stadium on Dec. 9. The SYL Finals Kickoff Event is free to attend for all SYL players and families. SYL players who purchase a ticket to attend Riley's seminar before Dec. 2 will have the opportunity to be selected as a ball kid for the Showcase Match.

The SYL Finals begin on Dec. 9, with group-play action being played during five game slots: 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET. Group play continues on Saturday and Sunday before the semifinals take place on Monday and the finals kick off on Tuesday.

College Coach Panel

7:30 p.m. ET, Dec. 10 – IMG Academy Fieldhouse – $10

If you and your child want to know what it takes to play and succeed at the next level, be sure to attend the interactive college coach panel to have your questions answered by current college coaches representing a variety of divisions, including NCAA Division I, DII, DIII and NAIA programs. Coaches from both boys' and girls' programs will be in attendance to share their knowledge.

The college coach panel will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET from the IMG Academy Fieldhouse on Dec. 10. Tickets to attend the college coach panel are $10.

Jason Riley - Seminar

7:30 p.m. ET, Dec. 11 – IMG Academy Clubhouse – $25

If you are looking to learn more about how you should treat your body off the soccer field, you will want to attend this seminar by Professional Nutritionist and Strength/Conditioning coach Jason Riley.

Super Y League players who purchase a ticket to attend the seminar before Dec. 2 will have the opportunity to be selected as a ball kid for the U.S. U-17 Men's National Team vs. IMG Academy U-18 match on Dec. 9.

Riley has trained many professional athletes, including New York Yankees star Derek Jeter and teams, such as the Tampa Bay Rowdies and the U.S. U-20 Youth National Team.

"Some of the most successful athletes are like CEO’s of a large corporation; they view every facet of their job as an opportunity to grow and develop their craft to become the best they can be," Riley said. "This presentation will uncover some of the key principles of becoming a successful soccer player, athlete and teammate."

The seminar, which includes a buffet dinner, will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET from the IMG Academy Clubhouse on Dec. 11. The event costs $25 to attend.
