The first round of college coaches have been confirmed to attend the 2016 Super Y League Regional Scouting Series this summer, and coaches from Division I, II and III programs are all set to attend.
Coaches from colleges such as the University of Cincinnati, Old Dominion University, La Salle University, Ball State University, Niagara University and more will be in attendance at the Scouting Series Events. More coaches will be announced in the coming weeks.
Region 1 is scheduled for July 29-31 at PA Classics Soccer Park in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for the New England, North Atlantic and Mid Atlantic Divisions. Region 2 will take place from July 22-24 at The Plex in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the Midwest Division. Region 3's Scouting Series will be from Aug. 5-7 at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex in Ormond Beach, Florida, for the South Atlantic and Southeast Divisions.
The SYL Regional Scouting Series provides elite SYL players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches and will help promote the top SYL prospects for regional and national programs. The SYL Scouting Series is also a direct path to advance into the National Pool and USL Experience.
