At the Scouting Series, the U10-U12 age groups will have the opportunity to train and compete in Rene Meulensteen’s Technical Testing where the top players identified have the chance of being invited to the US Technical Championship Finals. These age groups are also eligible to be selected for the National Pool.

Rene Meulensteen Academy (RMA) carries out the vision and philosophy of Rene Meulensteen, former Manchester United First-team coach and trainer to some of the games great players in Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and others. Rene created his player development philosophy and training program after studying and working with the best players and the most successful teams in the world.  He found that good athletes in the U15 and over age groups did not meet the technical and tactical demands of the game and were unable to fulfill their potential.  Rene responded to this conclusion by creating a unique player development curriculum with the following goals in mind:

·          Develop creative confident players.

·          Teach players the skills needed to dominate the 1v1 situation.

·          Design age and stage appropriate training sessions.
